Imagine it being freezing cold outside, it’s dark, you are hungry and you have no money and nowhere to go.  For most Americans, it isn’t something we need to think about because we have a place to call home. For the homeless, it’s called survival.

This very powerful podcast with Robyn Miller, the Executive Director of Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter (WATTS), and Jacques Rios, Coordinater at WATTS opens our eyes to the basic right of every human, a place to call home. For the winter months, WATTS has helped the people on the streets in our community find warmth, comfort, and a place to sleep.  Listen to hear how a caring community comes together to help those who are vulnerable, the homeless.
